Cross-Cultural Missions Training 2024

Are you wondering if missions’ service might be for you? Cross-Cultural Missions Training (CCMT) may just be the best way to test the water. This May, a month-long training program is being offered through a sister denomination, the United Reformed Church (URCNA).

Jonas Vrieling, one of the twenty some 2023 CCMT students highly endorses the program. He says, “Cross-Cultural Missions Training was an incredible experience. For 30 days in Mexico, I witnessed God’s work in missions with my own eyes and gained an understanding that cannot be earned through a textbook or stories. I’ve been thinking about how missions will fit into my life for a few years now, and although CCMT [wasn’t] an instant answer, I do feel like it gave me a new lens [in which to look at missions]. CCMT taught me about what it means to be a missionary, both foreign and local. It taught me strategies and things to watch out for on the mission field. It helped my spiritual growth and furthered my walk with God. Most of all, I learned that mission work is both a blessing and a command from God. CCMT gave me a better understanding of this responsibility, and how that might play out in my life.”
