New Staff Housing for Akisyon A Yesu in Uganda

For many years the Committee on Diaconal Ministries (CDM)  has supported Akisyon A Yesu (The Compassion of Jesus) Presbyterian Clinic (AYPC), a small, outpatient-only clinic located in rural Uganda, opened in 2002. AYPC provides many medical and laboratory services in the context of a Christian environment to those who previously had little to no medical care.

Chloe Verdick, OPC missionary to Uganda, recently wrote to report, “We’re ecstatic to share that the clinic staff officially moved into their new housing on Saturday, December 9th! As with all big projects, the move-in process has its list of tasks so ongoing prayer for Christopher [Verdick] and Jed [Homan] as they sort them all out is much appreciated. But the staff are sleeping in their new quarters and very happy to be there. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We are tasting the fruit of your faith and generosity!

We give praise to God who will birthed and completed this project for His glory!

In Christ, Chloe for the Verdicks
