St-Marc’s Reformed Church in Quebec City, where OP Missionary Rev. Ben Westerveld serves as Pastor, reaches out to the community each summer with three weeks of “English for Kids” Bible Camps for local French-speaking children aged 5 to 12. Individuals and teams are needed to lead the camps in 2017 . . .
Young men and women with camping experience are needed to help lead the “English for Teens” Bible Camping Trip in Quebec this summer! Rev. Westerveld says “The teens enjoy getting out of the city and spending a more intensive time together with their friends and the camp leaders. We’re praying for an opportunity to truly connect with the youth and see them grow in their desire to discover and know God the Father . . .”
In early February, Pete Onnink and his daughter Jessica drove down from Illinois to begin their work. Mark and Patti Palmer from Alabama joined them there. David and Donna Taylor from Bradenton were vacationing nearby at this time and when they heard of the work going on at Keys Church, they came to pitch in, too . . .
Skilled volunteers are encouraged to apply to join Team Utah, a team of workers who will continue the refurbishment of our OP church building in Magna, Utah. This will be the third summer that Team Utah has travelled to Magna to do construction work and also engage in evangelism training and outreach among Mormons with OP Pastor Jason Wallace . . .
