Team Haiti, sent out by the Youth Committee of the Presbytery of Southern California, traveled to Haiti this summer from June 23 to July 3, 2014.  This is the ninth year that a short-term mission team has been sent to Haiti from this presbytery! The team worked with OPC missionaries Ben and Heather Hopp, accompanying them to the island of Lagonav, off the coast of Haiti, to conduct mini VBS programs based on Reformed catechetical instruction in the Creole language with the assistance of translators.

OP churches represented on this year's Team Haiti:

  • Prescott Presbyterian (Prescott, AZ)
  • Verde Valley Reformed Chapel (Verde Valley, AZ)
  • Theophilus OPC (Anaheim, CA)
  • Sovereign Grace OPC (Redlands, CA)
  • Harvest OPC (San Marcos, CA)
  • Branch of Hope OPC (Torrance, CA)
  • Westminster OPC (Westminster, CA)
  • High Plains OPC (Calhan, CO)
  • Harvest OPC (Wyoming, MI)

This year's Team Leader, Rev. Peter Sim, shared some great photos with us![envira-gallery id="10663"]
