Ministry Team 2019: A Light in a Dark Desert

by Thomas Noto, Church of the Covenant OPC, Hackettstown, NJ (July 2019)

As a veteran at the Boardwalk Chapel, Tom Noto joined the Ministry Team from Shiloh OPC (Raleigh, NC) that served during Week One at the Boardwalk Chapel in Wildwood, NJ (June 22-29, 2019), to help them get acclimated.

Tom Noto, far left, with new friends from the Ministry Team from Shiloh OPC The OPC's Boardwalk Chapel is a place where you push yourself to improve!I have been to the Chapel for a few years now and am always amazed at the excitement, fellowship, and growth. This year I enjoyed the opportunity to play music with the Ministry Team from North Carolina with whom I served, and the fellowship with them was also great! I had an opportunity to speak during the nightly programs. I enjoyed the time of quiet writing, practicing music, and evangelism.I would recommend a stay at the Chapel for anyone wishing to grow in their gifts in a challenging way. The Boardwalk Chapel is a "light" in a dark desert and because of our savior Jesus Christ that light is bright for all who hear the Word!Keep praying for the Boardwalk Chapel.
