A Blessing of Fellowship

In July I traveled with my sister and another girl from our church to Thousand Oaks, California to help with vacation Bible school at Thousand Oaks OPC. We were hosted by families from the church, who were very kind and made us feel at home. VBS was a lot of fun. We set up every day because they meet in a youth center. When that was finished, we would split into groups with the kids where we did music, crafts, games, snacks, and a gospel presentation. In our free time we visited the beach or other local attractions and spent time getting to know the people at the church.

Cross-Cultural Missions Training (CCMT) is a one-month program that takes young men and women aged 18+ through two weeks of Bible teaching and cultural and language immersion followed by two weeks of service in a foreign context. This month is meant to provide an opportunity to see and to experience what it means to go and make disciples of all nations.
